About April

April L. Kincaid is a Kansas City-based artist and intuitive healer creating a living ecosystem rooted in  art, healing, nature, sustainability, creativity, and human connection.

Her work is an interconnected world of painting,  intuitive guidance,  healing spaces, sacred gatherings, murals, gardens, and ritual all that all come together to support the whole person and community.

At the heart of her vision is the belief that the journey back to your true self is non-linear.  It happens through self-reflection. Through connection. Through expression. Through honest conversation. Through creativity. Through community. Through remembering our relationship with the natural world and our life force energy.

Her paintings are vibrant, emotional, and intuitive, often carrying the feeling of portals, prayers, landscapes, dreams, or messages from the unseen. Her creative work extends beyond the canvas into murals, sacred spaces, visual storytelling, and the evolving vision of Wild Soul Sanctuary.

Wild Soul Sanctuary is being created on her modest .6-acre plot in Kansas City, Kansas with a much larger heart. It is envisioned as a small land-based ecosystem of gardens, herbs, flowers, art, gathering spaces, quiet places, intuitive healing, and seasonal restoration.

Over time, the sanctuary will grow through food gardens, medicinal herbs, native plants, pollinator flowers, fruit trees, creative spaces, ritual circles, and offerings that bring people back into relationship with the land, their bodies, their creativity, and their own inner knowing.

April’s work is for people who are ready to live more soulfully, create more honestly, heal more naturally, and remember that expression is part of how we come back to life.
