A Million Prayers Over the Grand Canyon emerged from a quiet, almost reverent awareness - a sense that the land itself was alive with memory, breath, and whispered devotion. As I painted, I felt as though I was standing within something sacred, where every layer of earth held the echo of countless prayers carried on wind and time.
 
The forms rise like a horizon of voices - soft, persistent, and unseen - gathering into a chorus that hums beneath the surface. Warm reds and glowing golds bleed into one another, evoking both the vastness of the canyon and the intimacy of something deeply felt but never fully spoken.
There is a stillness here, but it is not empty - it is full. Full of presence, of reverence, of something ancient and enduring. Beaming with the quiet accumulation of intention, hope, and prayer.
